Workshops & Masterclasses

SCAA Workshops and Masterclasses offer intensive classes where students can gain new skills, explore new passions, or hone their artistry. 

Age:13-18

This class aims to teach High School age students basic principles of microphones, recording software and the MIDI Protocol. Spread over an hour and a half class, students will get a chance to get hands on with this technology and explore how what audio engineers work daily in studios. Audio engineering equipment will be present for students to gain hands on experience. This class is hosted by members of the Shenandoah Conservatory Audio Engineering Society (AES).
