*As our program continues to grow and excel, we are strongly encouraging a minimum of two ballet classes a week for students who wish to do pointe-work in Ballet levels 3, 4, 5 and Advanced. Your options would include: taking another level (up or down) in addition to your core level class recommended by your teacher, enroll in a Ballet Technique non-recital class, or consult your instructors about other alternatives.

Pointe work is not a requirement for continued study in these upper level ballet classes. Students can choose to take Ballet levels 3, 4, 5 and Advanced in ballet slippers.

An additional intermediate-advanced technique class per week; a non-recital class.

Ballet/Pointe Strengthening

Students will engage in Theraband and strength-building exercises on the floor and at the barre. These targeted exercises will focus on those muscles necessary for proper support, alignment, and technique used for ensuring strong, manageable, and secure pointe work. This is a 10-week, non-recital class from October 8-December 10.
