Adult Stretching

Adult Programs

Shenandoah Conservatory Arts Academy (SCAA) offers a comprehensive study of dance in a variety of mediums. Study begins with an emphasis in creativity and the establishment of a strong foundation in the specific dance style. The progression of study allows each student to develop strength, musicality, coordination and advanced level dance technique.

Age: 16 years and up

Students will be led through a series of exercises meant to strengthen the core while aligning the spine and lengthening the musculature of the body. Exercises will derive influences from body therapies, such as yoga and pilates, dance technique, and bodyweight resistance exercises. No previous experience required.
