Vivian Christy Sansoni Award
Shenandoah Conservatory Arts Academy (SCAA), in partnership with the family of Vivian Christy Sansoni, is pleased to announce the 2024/25 Vivian Christy Sansoni Scholarship Award.
In 2015, Vivian’s family created a scholarship in her memory. Vivian was a youth actress, singer, dancer, and musician, and the arts provided a wonderful outlet for her creativity to thrive. This award is given in her memory to students residing in the City of Winchester when a financial need prohibits exploration of their talent and creativity. Those selected will receive full or partial tuition assistance for arts instruction at Shenandoah Conservatory Arts Academy (SCAA).
Funds will be awarded to students attending Winchester City Public Schools in grades K-12 with financial need, who otherwise would not have the opportunity to explore the arts through the many programs offered at SCAA. The intent of this award is to provide students the chance to experience the sense of belonging, excitement, and learning that the arts can offer.
SCAA offers class instruction in dance, orchestra, choir, and individual instrumental and vocal lessons.
The student’s family will be responsible for the annual registration fee of $35.
All applications are due to SCAA at the address or email below by September 6, 2024. Applications must include a recommendation from a teacher or community member familiar with the student’s artistic abilities.
