The Shenandoah Conservatory Arts Academy, in partnership with the family of Vivian Christy Sansoni, is pleased to announce the 2025-2026 Vivian Christy Sansoni Scholarship Award.

The Vivian Christy Sansoni Award provides scholarship during one academic year for extracurricular lessons in the performing arts held at the Shenandoah Conservatory Arts Academy (SCAA). SCAA offers class instruction in dance, music, theatre, and fencing. A complete listing of our programs, as well as information about SCAA, can be found on our website at www.scartsacademy.org.

In 2015, Vivian’s family created this scholarship in her memory. Vivian was a youth actress, singer, dancer, and musician and the arts provided a wonderful outlet for her creativity to thrive. This award is given in her memory to students when a financial need prohibits exploration of their talent and creativity. Those selected will receive full or partial tuition assistance for arts instruction at SCAA.

Funds are awarded to students attending Winchester City Public Schools in grades K-12 that show promise/ passion in the arts. The intent of this competitive award is to provide assistance to students with financial need who otherwise would not have the opportunity for extracurricular study in the arts. As a result of growing interest for this award, consideration will be given to new applicants first, with one applicant per family to be considered.

Please complete the application and return to SCAA by June 1, 2025. Applications may be submitted in person, by regular mail, or via email. Funds awarded would be used for the 2025-2026 school year, with classes beginning in September 2025. To complete the application, please include a recommendation from a community member or teacher on the following nomination form.
