Dear SCAA Students and Families,
As the COVID-19 situation changes rapidly, out of an abundance of care, the Shenandoah Conservatory Arts Academy (SCAA) will close effective Saturday, March 14 – Sunday, March 29. During this period we will have no classes or lessons.
Following the examples of Shenandoah University and the surrounding school districts of Winchester City and Frederick County, we are moving to limit contact between faculty, students, parents, and staff. Student safety is our priority.
We will reassess the situation on March 26 and update you at that time, if not before.
Please understand that it is our intention to honor the instruction that we have agreed to provide your students. However, like many other organizations, we need some time and flexibility as we make decisions. We are working to determine the best path forward and ask for your patience and understanding as we plan. We will be back in touch with you regarding rescheduling information within two weeks.
As this situation continues to evolve, there may be changes. We will continue to keep you updated on any additional changes or new information through email, facebook, and this website.
The SCAA community is very important to us. Please stay healthy and well informed, and remember that the reason for our closure is an abundance of care and concern for all of you who are part of our SCAA family.
