Virtual Musical Theatre and the Arts! (Age 3 to 12 years)

This is a tailor-made program to help you achieve your dreams!~

Registration deadline for all classes is one week prior to the start of the class. 

Summer Musical Theatre Intensive

Art Start: Carnival 

Age: 3 to 5 years

Lions, elephants, birds galore! During this week long camp your child will use the music “Carnival of the Animals” by Camille Saint-Saen as the basis for our exploration into the animal kingdom. Students will learn about the animals portrayed by the music through art, science, movement, and experimentation with dance, music, art, and experimentation. This camp will entice their senses and fully engage the student’s innate sense of curiosity.

*Materials will be provided for the art project however you will need to pick up your materials at SCAA prior to the start of the class. More information upon registration.

Tuition: $60

Spotlight on the Arts: Carnival of the Animals

Age: 6 to 8 years

Lions, Tigers, Bears oh my…. Now is your time to move, act, and transform yourself into a wild animal. Using Camille Saint Saens musical composition, CARNIVAL OF THE ANIMALS, as a guide for our exploration, let us help you find your inner performer. Each day will include a dance lesson, drama lesson, and art lesson.

*Materials will be provided for the art project however you will need to pick up your materials from SCAA prior to the start of the class.

Jr. Musical Theatre Workshop

Age: 9 to 12 years

Students will have the opportunity to work on their singing, acting, and musical theater dance techniques. 

Musical Theater: Vocal Segment
Each student will be scheduled two 15 minute private vocal session in the afternoon during the week.

Musical Theater: Acting Segment
Students will learn to use their voice, improvisation, and movement to enhance their acting performance. Through role playing, character development, and imagination, your young actor will learn how to push their acting skills to a new level.

Musical Theater: Dance Segment
Students will work on their dance skills by learning a warm up routine and some fundamental musical theater dance moves. The students will learn fun combinations executed to Broadway style music.

Class Dates: July 27-31, 9:00-12 noon (Acting and Dance)
Private vocal lessons will be scheduled in the afternoons
