Centered on the Musikgarten curriculum, our childrens music program is an exploration of the rich tapestry formed by sounds found in rhyme and folk music from around the world. All areas of childhood development are nurtured within this unique program, allowing both parents and children to experience a warm arts-centered community.

Sing, Laugh, Explore, Perform

Family Music for Babies

Age: 6 to 18 months; Parent or Caregiver Participation Required

Designed to increase your child’s curiosity and response to music through singing, rocking, bouncing and instrument introduction. Class begins Thursday, September 20 for 24 weeks.

Family Music

Age: 18 months to 3 years; Parent or Caregiver Participation Required

Family Music introduces musical concepts while stimulating basic developmental skills through instrument exploration, singing, dancing and fingerplays. Classes begin Wednesday  September 19 for 24 weeks.

Twist and Shout

Age: 2 to 3 years; Parent or Caregiver Participation Required

This 45-minute class for active twos and young threes and their caregivers is full of music, movement and instrument exploration. It includes hands-on sensory activities, crafts and story time and is designed as a transitional class between Family Music and Sing and Create. Who’s ready to Twist and Shout?Class begins Friday, September 21 for 24 weeks.

Sing and Create

Age: 3 and 4 years

The seasons come alive in this imaginative class full of musical play, singing, stories, movement and creative art projects. Class begins Thursday, September 20 for 24 weeks. Rolling registration until classes are full.

Music Makers I

Age: 4 to 6 years

Animal Habitats are the backdrop for the development of music vocabulary and sight-reading skills through singing, listening, movement and instrumental play. Class begins Thursday, September 20 for 24 weeks.

Music Makers II, Around the World

Age: 5 to 7 years

Join us on an exciting musical journey to different cultures through song, dance, stories, celebrations and musical ensemble playing. Class begins Wednesday, September 19 for 24 weeks. Rolling registration until classes are full.
