Junior Musical Theatre Intensive
Have you ever dreamed about performing on Broadway? In this intensive you will learn skills in your quest to become a Triple Threat. You will have the opportunity to work on your singing, acting, and dance techniques.
Age: 9 – 12 years
Musical Theater Vocal segment students will sing and perform children’s songs found in popular broadway shows such as Annie, The Lion King, Mary Poppins, Oliver, Les Miserables, and Peter Pan. Both solo and group singing will be encouraged. Musical Theater history, vocal health, and techniques for vocal enhancement will be discussed.
Musical Theater Acting segment students will learn to use their voice, improvisation, and movement to enhance their acting performance. Though role playing, character development, and imagination, your young actor will learn how to push their acting skills to a new level.
Musical Theater Dance segment students will work on their dance skills by learning a warm up routine and some fundamental musical theater dance moves. The students will learn fun combinations executed to Broadway style music.

Senior Musical Theatre Intensives
Have you ever dreamed about performing on Broadway? In this intensive you will learn skills in your quest to become a Triple Threat. You will have the opportunity to work on your singing, acting, and dance techniques. Each week offers a different emphasis with a variety of professional instructors to help you achieve your dreams.
Senior Musical Theatre Intensive WEEK 1:
Age: 13 – 18 years
Broadway Bound Vocals segment students will explore a variety of singing styles through an overview of traditional and contemporary musical theater. Both solo and group singing will be coached in a masterclass setting. Topics include college audition techniques, body awareness, vocal health, and choosing one’s musical theater repertoire.
Musical Theater Acting segment students will learn to integrate acting and signing techniques into one seamless performance. Students will learn how to interpret lyrics to make a more meaningful presentation. Students will also work on character development and presentation of monologues and scenes.
Musical Theater Dance segment students will build upon their dance skills by learning a warm up routine and some typical musical theater dance moves. Students will then learn fun combinations executed to Broadway style music. A presentation of your vocal, acting and dance skills will be held for your family and friends at the end of the intensive week.

Senior Musical Theatre Intensive WEEK 2:
Age: 13 – 18 years
Singing to Raise the Roof, students will be encouraged to enhance their natural talent, whether they are preparing for a career in the music industry or simply enjoy singing. Students will focus on their pop/rock image and vocal technique to prepare for live shows and auditions such as The Voice, American Idol, and X-Factor. Topics include microphone use, understanding ones singing voice, marketing for a career, and defining individual style.
Art of Acting segment will help stimulate the actor’s creative instrument with use of exercise work, dramatic text, and introductions to techniques for stage performances.
Musical Theatre Dance will consist of a warm up, followed by learning new ensemble dance combinations executed to music from broadway shows.
A presentation of your vocal, acting and dance skills will be held for family and friends at the end of the intensive week.
